School Catering Assistant - Chester
Location: Chester
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am - 1:30pm
Pay: £17.50 per hour
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking School Catering Assistant to join a welcoming school in Chester on a part-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment and takes pride in providing a high standard of food service to students and staff.
Duties will include:
* Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals
* Keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean and tidy
* Washing up and maintaining hygiene standards
* Supporting the catering team during busy lunch periods
* Following food safety and health & safety procedures
The ideal candidate will:
* Have previous catering, kitchen, or food service experience
* Be dependable, organised, and able to work as part of a team
* Have a positive and professional attitude
* Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
