Job Title: Clinical Unit Manager - Dementia Care
Location: Wembley
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced nurse professional specializing in dementia care to lead our dynamic team in Wembley. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of our dementia care unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the dementia care unit, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents with dementia, focusing on their physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Supervise, train, and support nursing and care staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and stakeholders to enhance the quality of care provided.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Ensure efficient resource management, including staffing, budgeting, and procurement of supplies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with a valid nursing license.
- Proven experience in dementia care management or a similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of dementia care best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage complex situations and make informed decisions.
- Compassionate, patient-centred approach to care delivery.
