The Role (12 months maternity cover)
The eCommerce Marketplace Manager will oversee daily management of Amazon and other marketplaces, collaborating on strategic e-Commerce initiatives with the Senior International/EU eCommerce Manager and the MD/VP UK, China & International. The focus is to drive sales of existing products and launch new ones online. The role involves participating in a wider EU Amazon working group and consulting with our US team on reporting and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement the marketplace strategy for the UK, working with senior management.
* Manage daily operations and development of third-party online channels, especially Amazon 1P and 3P.
* Optimize Amazon advertising campaigns to maximize performance and ROI.
* Create and optimize product listings following best practices to increase views and sales.
* Develop and manage a review generation program.
* Collaborate with Global Amazon Marketing team on asset creation for new listings and updates.
* Conduct market research on competitors to identify growth opportunities.
* Generate sales reports weekly and analyze data to inform strategies.
* Identify trends and troubleshoot issues affecting product performance.
* Develop strategies to increase sales, reduce costs, and enhance conversion rates, including pricing, PPC, packaging, coupons, customer communications, and more.
* Partner with internal teams for product launches and go-to-market strategies.
* Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure stock availability, quality, and compliance.
Experience:
* At least 4 years of experience on Amazon, preferably both 1P and 3P.
* Experience with other platforms like eBay and OnBuy.
* Budget management and forecasting skills.
* Stock control experience.

* Strong analytical skills for strategic decision-making.
* Excellent communication skills for internal and agency relationships.
* Results-driven with initiative.
* Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
* Highly organized with multitasking ability.
