Job Description
The Scientist's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Performing a wide range of analyses (routine and non-routine), primarily in biochemistry within Biopharmaceutical Services.
2. Reviewing and evaluating raw data for acceptability.
3. Setting up and validating new analytical or related processes used by the department.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate would possess:
1. Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
2. Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.
3. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
4. The ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.
Basic Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, molecular, cell biology, or related field, or equivalent directly-related experience.
2. Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
3. Some prior laboratory experience.
Additional Information
Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8am - 4pm, with overtime as needed.
Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, are encouraged to apply. No relocation assistance will be provided. This position is NOT remote.
