The Role: Employment Paralegal This is an exceptional opportunity for a Paralegal with a minimum of two years' employment law experience to make the move from private practice to an in-house role. You will work closely with the Directors, operating independently across a broad spectrum of employment and commercial issues. This role is entirely office-based in our open-plan Croydon office, offering easy access to management and a collaborative environment. Salary: £25,000 £30,000 per annum Location: Croydon (Fully Office-Based) Reporting to: Finance Director What You Will Be Doing (Key Tasks) You will be the initial point of contact for the HR team regarding legal advice and will manage a diverse workload including: Providing advice, drafting documents, and conducting document reviews for the HR team. Managing employee disputes, including debt recovery and dismissals. Assisting at every stage of the TUPE process. Attending and contributing to restructuring meetings. Carrying out document searches for cases, including disclosures. Preparing information briefs for external legal advisors. Supporting the business on operational and commercial projects, touching on a wide variety of legal issues and processes. Assisting with the distribution, recording, filing, and archiving of fully executed employment contracts. What We Are Looking For (Key Requirements) A minimum of a 2:1 Law Degree. 2 years of employment law experience. A strong working knowledge of employment law and HR practices. The ability to work independently and manage your own caseload. Strong written and oral communication skills. Adept in the use of Microsoft Office applications. Strong research skills.
