Driver Hire Bournemouth and Salisbury are excited to now be offering a flexible temporary opportunity for a Delivery Van Driver in Salisbury. 8-15 drops is the typical amount per day for this role .
Position: Van Driver (Category B)
Days: Monday – Friday
Location: Salisbury
Pay Rate: £13.68 (daytime) – £15.69 (weekends). Holiday Pay Advanced.
The successful Van Driver will have:
1. a valid UK Category B driving licence (max. 6 penalty points)
2. experience in delivering using 3.5t vehicles
3. physical fitness and familiarity with loading and unloading in a safe manner
4. own reliable transport to travel to work
Responsibilities:
5. maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle
6. provide excellent customer service during deliveries
7. load and unload goods from the van, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
8. safely operate our client’s vans to deliver goods
9. adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
10. follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
