Role Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC Nursing PIN to join our vibrant care community. In this role, you will be pivotal in delivering holistic and clinical care to our residents, fostering a supportive environment where they can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Craft Personalized Care Plans: Collaborate with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to design and implement individual care plans.
2. Ensure Accuracy: Observe interactions and conditions, ensuring precise, legal, and understandable documentation.
3. Lead with Confidence: Organize and guide your team at the start of each shift.
4. Facilitate Seamless Transitions: Oversee shift handovers for continuity of care.
5. Monitor Health: Conduct routine observations and manage specific health needs.
6. Administer Medications: Manage medications safely, following protocols.
7. Build Relationships: Foster trust with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
8. Promote Independence: Support residents in daily activities, encouraging autonomy.
9. Act on Feedback: Respond to team input to prioritize resident well-being.
10. Champion Respect: Uphold dignity and advocate for resident needs.
11. Encourage Engagement: Facilitate social activities to enrich residents' lives.
12. Prioritize Safety: Maintain vigilance on health and safety standards.
13. Support Nutrition: Advocate for proper nutrition and hydration.
14. Respond to Emergencies: Act swiftly in emergencies, utilizing on-call systems.
Qualifications & Attributes:
* Active NMC Nursing PIN.
* Care or nursing experience preferred but passion and dedication are essential.
* Ability to connect warmly and effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
* Excellent communication skills with empathy and clarity.
