Role Overview
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Mental Health Support Team in the Spalding area as a qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP), Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) or other low‑intensity CBT qualified practitioner.
This diverse role offers a chance to impact outcomes for children, young people, and families through early support and intervention.
Responsibilities
* Support children and young people aged 5-18 in school and college settings presenting with low to moderate mental health or emotional wellbeing problems.
* Provide interventions using Low‑Intensity CBT and other evidence‑based approaches.
* Implement the Whole School Approach by delivering training, workshops and assemblies to the wider educational community.
* Provide regular consultation, advice and training to educational professionals.
* Maintain a caseload of young people and deliver appropriate support.
* Participate in regular managerial and clinical supervision.
* Travel as needed across the county and outer areas of Spalding.
Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants must hold an accredited practice as an Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) or Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP). Trainees are not considered.
Working Arrangements
Full‑time post operating Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Alternative working patterns can be considered and base pay negotiated.
