Responsibilities
* Leads groups of international students on a variety of activities and events within London, and Day Trips across the wider UK
* Researches excursion destinations, leads a guided tour at the destination and gives interesting information and facts to students.
* Creates a lively atmosphere during excursions, delivering excellent customer service
* Takes responsibility for health and safety of all students including completing and adhering to risk assessments and emergency situations in line with EF policy and procedures
* Liaises with co-leaders and the Activities and Events Manager to discuss how to improve future activities and gives a thorough handover after each activity or event to aid future planning
* Attends and assists with large events and parties.
* Ensures the EF Student Code of Conduct is followed by all students at all times and informs the management immediately if there are any issues or problems
Requirements
* Highly motivated, energetic and positive with a sociable personality
* Confident in leading and managing large groups of students
* Highly organised and thorough, able to use initiative and work unsupervised
* An interest in history and tour-guiding
* A team player, happy to work in collaboration with others
* Ability to handle difficult situations with ease and remain calm under pressure
* Customer service minded and quality oriented
* Awareness and appreciation of cultural differences
* Excellent communicator both with students, colleagues, and external clients
* Candidates must have flexible availability, with the ability to work evenings, nights and weekends when required
* Fluency in English
* All offers are subject to a clear enhanced DBS check and two references
* Right to work in the UK on commencement of employment
