Technical Operative (Voids/Empty Homes Team)

Circa £39,000 per annum
£1,000 Vehicle Responsibility Allowance
As a Voids Supervisor (Technical Operative), you'll play a key role in ensuring our empty homes are ready for re-letting on time and to a high standard for our tenants. Working closely with the Voids Team Leader and Assessor, you'll help make sure the team has the support they need to complete works effectively.
You’ll be the main point of contact for technical questions, provide advice, and give hands on support to a team of multi-skilled operatives, as well as managing and developing our two labourers. Your time will be split between carrying out works in our empty properties 4 days per week, and in the office 1 day per week. This is an exciting opportunity, ideal for an experienced operative looking to develop their leadership skills.
To be successful in this role you will need to:
* Be able to demonstrate considerable building/construction skills and knowledge
* Ideally have hands-on experience working on voids or planned works projects.
* Ideally have previous experience of line management and/or coaching
* Have sound knowledge of construction related health & safety.
* Be highly organised with the ability to effectively prioritise your workloads.
* Be confident in using IT systems.
* Hold a full UK driving licence.
