Family Safeguarding Service
Our Family Safeguarding model focuses on keeping children safely within their families wherever possible, through meaningful direct work, strength‑based practice, and effective multi‑agency partnership. You will work closely with Family Practitioners, Adult Specialist Workers, health colleagues, education, police, and the voluntary sector to provide holistic, joined‑up support to children and their families.
You’ll be part of a team committed to relational practice, working with families to build resilience, reduce risk, and create lasting positive change.

What we’re looking for:
* Qualified and registered Social Worker (Social Work England registration required)
* Suitable for both experienced social workers and newly qualified social workers undertaking ASYE — with full support and supervision provided
* Strong skills in assessment, safeguarding, and managing complex family situations
* Ability to work effectively within a multi‑disciplinary, strength‑based model
* Commitment to continuous learning, reflection, and professional development
* Excellent communication, resilience, and a solution‑focused approach

What we can offer you:
Salary: The salary band for this role is £41,771 - £46,141. The starting salary is £41,771 with annual progression through the salary bands.
