We're working with a London sports business who are looking to recruit a Head of Marketing (Commercial):
Key responsibilities
* Strategic planning: Develop and implement marketing strategies to support commercial objectives, such as increasing attendance and revenue from matchday events.
* Campaign execution: Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, and traditional advertising, to promote upcoming games and ticket packages.
* Sales and revenue generation: Drive sales for tickets, hospitality packages, and other premium matchday experiences by creating compelling offers and targeted marketing efforts.
* Fan experience: Work to improve the overall matchday experience for fans, which can include collaborating on stadium promotions and fan engagement initiatives.
* Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including partnership teams, creative teams, and operations, to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with overall club goals and that rights are delivered effectively.
* Performance analysis: Measure and evaluate the success of marketing campaigns using relevant data and analytics to inform future strategies and demonstrate ROI.
* Content creation: Assist in creating content for various platforms, such as matchday programs, social media posts, and promotional videos.
Required skills and qualifications
* Marketing and commercial experience, preferably in the sports or entertainment industry.
* Strong understanding of marketing principles, including digital marketing and campaign management.
* Excellent client servicing and partnership management skills.
* Experience with data analysis and performance evaluation.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
* Flexibility and a willingness to work in a dynamic environment.
* A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is often required.
