Overview
Working within the Surveyor Management team, the role will involve first-hand experience on delivering maritime inspections on a global scale. Assisting the team in the rollout of a new product and the development of the supporting processes, in compliance with ISO:9001 requirements, the role will involve managing over 600 supplier relationships across 102 countries to ensure consistent outbound messaging and continued technical growth from suppliers.
You will be involved in building the structure of the internal management framework for this exciting new product family, giving you plenty of opportunity to input into strategic business decisions. You will be working to bring surveyors onto the network and ensure they are given the right tools and training to conduct inspections to the highest standard.
The role is fast paced and multi-faceted so you will need to be adapt quickly to business requirements and support other departments including Commercial, Operations and Finance in delivering inspections to a wide breadth of global maritime customers. The role will deliver a deep-dive insight into the international maritime industry and the numerous business management strategies required to support global operations.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the onboarding and verification of new applicants.
* Manage the completion of induction training.
* Oversee the collection of payments.
* Assist with the creation of surveyor CVs and profiles.
* Assist in the development of new training offerings to the network of surveyors to ensure technical excellence and compliance.
* Contribute to the monitoring and defining of critical recruitment areas and subsequent recruitment in those areas.
* Assist as required across the technical capacity to ensure continued business as usual.

* Previous experience of CRM and supplier management
* Maritime experience/knowledge
