The Role
As a Trainee Manager, you'll undertake a 12-month development program to gain comprehensive experience in operational, service, and leadership standards, preparing you to become a future Store Manager. You'll follow a structured training pathway with support from your Store Manager to ensure your success.
Key Responsibilities
At Majestic, customers are central to everything. You'll represent the store, support your team to deliver outstanding shopping experiences, and drive store performance by maximizing sales and KPIs. You'll provide exceptional customer service, actively engage with customers through updates and tastings, and promote our products passionately.
You'll also be responsible for maintaining the store's appearance, participating in operational tasks such as stock deliveries and customer outreach, and continuously seeking improvements for operational efficiency. Compliance with policies and ongoing personal development are also key aspects of the role.
Knowledge & Skills Required
Experience in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment, excellent customer service skills, problem-solving ability, self-motivation, adaptability, and effective communication. Passion for wine and willingness to learn for WSET qualifications are essential. A full UK/EU/EEA driving license with minimal penalty points is required.
