Main duties of the job
As a Band 7 NMP you will provide non-medical prescribing for clients with substancedependence.You will ensure management of complex clients, providing advice and guidance onprescribing issues to a team of practitioners, as well as other colleagues and agenciesconcerned with substance misuse.As the Lead Nurse, you will demonstrate leadership and undertake managerialresponsibilities. You will be responsible for ensuring effective and best use of the nursingprovision and all clinical resources.

Experience
Essential
1. -5 years post-registration experience
2. -2 years working in Substance Misuse Services at a Band 6 level
3. -Experience of managing multidisciplinary staff
4. -Knowledge of the safe storage and administration of medication
5. -Ability and knowledge to carry out assessments, including risk
6. assessment and management
7. -Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care and
8. act accordingly if concerns present themselves
9. -Strong IT Skills

10. -Experience of working within a secure environment
11. -Ability to provide and coordinate clinical and management
12. supervision
13. -Audit process and an ability to use audit tools
14. -Working knowledge of SystemOne
