Stevenage | Onsite Working | £42,000 – £53,000 + Bonus & Benefits
A leading defence engineering organisation is looking for an Electronic Design Engineer to join their Analogue and Digital Capability Group. This role offers the opportunity to work on advanced electronic systems, contributing to all stages of the product lifecycle from concept to production, and collaborating across multiple technical domains.
Key Responsibilities:
• Undertake board-level electronic design, including FPGA and SoC power and control circuitry
• Develop electronic solutions in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams
• Interface with RF systems and broader sub-systems to deliver integrated solutions
• Apply robust design techniques to ensure high-quality, reliable electronics
• Support proving and validation activities to ensure compliance with requirements
• Contribute to product development from concept through to production, ensuring targets for quality, cost, and rate are achieved
• Provide technical input and collaborate with colleagues on continuous improvement of design methods
What We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience in electronic design, development, and delivery
• Strong technical knowledge of analogue and digital electronics
• Experience in delivering significant electronic design work packages
• Ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams
