A leading nuclear engineering company is looking for a principal mechanical engineer to join the team on a long term contract basis for some of their most exciting projects in the nuclear space.
* Job Role - Principal Mechanical Engineer
* Location - Newbury
* Contract Length - 12 Months
* Pay Rates - Up To £75 hour Inside IR35
This role will be perfect for a well experienced and knowledgeable Principal Mechanical Engineer who has vast time spent in the highly regulated fields and sectors associated.
Key Competencies:
* Understand concepts and principles, shapes, designs, developments and determines a solution to functional issues
* A full knowledge and understanding of all health and safety matters
* Work as the subject matters expert and mechanical engineering specialist
* Technically manage the scope of engineering to ensure it meets project quality requirements and deadlines
* Ensure that procedures, codes and standards are correctly identified and applied to engineering and technical activities
* Ensure adequate review, verification and approvals are undertaken on all deliverables
* Ensure you are supervising engineers and technical specialists to align with project scope
Essential Qualifications:
* Engineering degree in a relevant field with significant demonstratable experience.
* Chartership (Desired)
* Time spent in managing teams
* Experience covering a wide range tasks across a range complexities.
