Technical Sales Manager (Storage) – Chesterfield, United Kingdom. Base pay around £65,000 per annum plus company vehicle, fuel card, and competitive commission. Salary negotiable depending on experience.
What’s the role?
This is more than a sales role. It’s a rare opportunity to join a growing storage solutions business with a clear pathway to Directorship. You will design and deliver solutions that transform how major players in Manufacturing, Retail, Automotive, Pharmaceutical, and Distribution optimise their space—from mezzanine floors and racking systems to conveyors and office fit-outs.
You will combine sales leadership with technical insight, have strong business acumen, and be prepared to lead projects end-to-end with the backing of company leadership. Experience in CAD and 3D design/presentations is beneficial. An understanding of SEMA design guidelines and building control regulations is required.
Responsibilities
* Lead on sales strategy and end-to-end delivery of storage solutions projects (mezzanines, racking, shelving, conveyors, office fit-outs).
* Collaborate with manufacturing, retail, automotive, pharmaceutical, and distribution clients to optimise their space.
* Utilise CAD and 3D design tools to develop and present solutions.
* Demonstrate strong business and commercial acumen, with the ability to assume a leadership role in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications and Skills
* Proven experience in sales management within the storage/space optimisation sector.
* Knowledge of CAD and 3D design/presentations is advantageous.
* Understanding of SEMA design guidelines and building control regulations.
