SEN Teacher - Full Time

Looking for a rewarding teaching role in a truly supportive environment?
We're seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a highly regarded special school in South London, catering for pupils aged 7-18 with a wide range of abilities and additional learning needs, including complex needs. Every pupil has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), and the school receives a high number of referrals due to its excellent reputation.

This is a sought-after setting with a strong family atmosphere among staff, where collaboration and care are at the heart of everything they do. The school offers weekly staff training sessions, which agency staff are encouraged to attend, ensuring continuous professional development.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30am - 4:00pm
Location: South London
Start Date: ASAP

About the School:

Predominantly caters for pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD).
Includes 8-9 classes with around 6 pupils each, some of whom are non-verbal or have complex needs.

We welcome applications from:

Qualified Teachers with QTS and experience in SEN settings.
Teachers passionate about supporting pupils with diverse needs.
Individuals who thrive in a collaborative, family-like school culture.

Your role will include:

Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
Creating a safe, structured, and inspiring classroom environment.
Working closely with support staff, therapists, and families to ensure holistic development.
Encouraging independence, confidence, and progress in every child.

Requirements:

UK-recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
Previous experience working with pupils with SEN.
A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through us).
Two employment references covering the last 24 months.
