Primary Specialist (KS2) – Independent Prep School, Poole
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 2 teacher to join a thriving independent preparatory school in the beautiful coastal town of Poole.
We are seeking a Primary Specialist with a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum, and ideally, a specialism or keen interest in English. You will join a dynamic and supportive team committed to delivering an outstanding, well-rounded education in a nurturing environment.
Contract/Position Details:
1. Location: Poole
2. Position: Primary Teacher (KS2)
3. Start date: After October half term
4. Contract: Temporary
5. Full time/part time: Full Time
6. Hours: 07:30am – 16:00pm (including meetings and parents evenings)
7. Minimum rate of pay: Paid to scale
The ideal candidate will:
8. Be a qualified teacher with experience teaching KS2 with QTS
9. Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge, particularly in English
10. Inspire and engage pupils of all abilities

11. Delivering engaging, high-quality lessons across key stage 2, with a focus on developing strong literacy and language skills
12. Planning and assessing work in with school and national curriculum expectations
13. Supporting the individual learning needs, helping them achieve their full potential
