Main Responsibilities
* Deliver high quality clinical care to patients registered and attending the GP surgery and work closely with clinical leads and the local practice team to support the delivery of the surgery's operational plan.
* Maintain practice quality by participating in clinical governance activities and improving health outcomes through audit, the Quality and Outcomes Framework, and supporting the achievement of other quality standards including CQC.
* Provide clinical care to patients as described in the job plan and in line with the total triage model, including consultation sessions (both in person and by video), telephone triage, correspondence, results, medication reviews, prescription signing, clinical administration, safeguarding lead, medicals, reports, home visits, surgery meetings, and on-call (excluding out of hours).
* Adhere to the highest personal and professional standards set out by the GMC and prioritize individual patient care.
* Work with the Practice Manager and site clinical lead to support development, delivery and review of the surgery action plan – including list growth, patient satisfaction levels, QOF, enhanced services, KPI targets, resource profile and cost management.
Ideal Candidate
* Current registration with the GMC and NHS performers list and regular clinical work engagement.
* Experienced doctor with GP accreditation – MRCGP examination or equivalent experience.
* Clear commitment to delivering quality, patient-focused services.
* Sound knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, CQUINs and the use of appropriate coding.
* Ideally, working knowledge of clinical systems such as SystmOne or EMISweb.

* Annual salary up to £112,500 depending on experience, plus £11,000 per session for newly qualified GPs.
