We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspection Technician to join our automotive workshop team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for performing cosmetic checks and functional inspections on vehicles, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality.
Your duties will include inspecting bodywork for any imperfections, scratches, dents, or damage; conducting interior inspections, such as checking seats, trim, upholstery, and dashboards for quality; examining windshields for cracks, chips, or other defects; and performing basic battery tests to ensure the battery's charge and condition meet our standards.
You will also be responsible for inspecting all other cosmetic features of the vehicle, ensuring they align with company standards and customer expectations. You will document inspection results, noting any defects or areas needing repair, and collaborate closely with the workshop team and technicians to address any issues you discover.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect exterior bodywork for imperfections, scratches, dents, or damage.
Check the interior of vehicles, including seats, trim, upholstery, and dashboards, ensuring they are in excellent condition.
Examine windshields for cracks, chips, or other defects.
Perform battery tests to check the charge and overall condition.
Inspect other cosmetic features of the vehicle to ensure they meet company standards and customer expectations.
Document inspection results and report any defects or required repairs.
Work closely with the workshop team and technicians to address identified issues and maintain high-quality standards.
The role requires a keen attention to detail, as you will be expected to spot even the smallest cosmetic imperfections and ensure that all vehicles meet our high-quality standards. While no formal qualifications are required, previous experience in a body shop, mechanical, or automotive-related role is highly desirable. This role is perfect for individuals with a passion for quality control and an eye for detail, though full training will be provided on-site. Additionally, there is a strong focus on career progression, as this is a temp-to-perm role, with the potential to transition into a permanent position after the successful completion of a probationary period.
PPE will be provided to ensure your safety while working in the workshop. If you're interested in applying, please submit your CV and cover letter detailing any relevant experience to
