Salary
Unqualified: Base salary of £29,112.72 to £30,008.16 upon successful completion of the probation period.
Qualified: Base salary of £30,641.52 (for those with a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent).
Working Hours
Specific hours are from 08:00 AM to 08:00 PM (12-hour shifts).
Location: Greater London, covering homes in Camden, Haringey, and Islington.
Your Role
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in the lives of our young people. Your responsibilities will include:
* Promoting positive development and providing a safe, nurturing environment.
* Offering emotional and social support to help young people build meaningful relationships.
* Encouraging self-esteem and respect among the young people in our care.
* Assisting with daily living needs in line with individual care plans.
* Maintaining accurate records of events, observations, and progress.
* Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including health advisors, social workers, and therapists.
* Involving young people in domestic duties and meal preparation.
What We’re Looking For
We seek individuals who are:
* Engaging and proactive in their approach to working with young people.
* Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
* Sensitive, reflective, and empathetic listeners.
* Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Experienced in the care sector or residential care.
* Committed to obtaining a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.
* Willing to work some Bank Holidays.
