What you'll be doing day to day
1. Manage the audit teams, ensuring assignments are staffed appropriately
2. Work closely with the client engagement Partner to co-ordinate both compliance and specialist services
3. Act as the main point of contact for all client matters
4. Assist with the coaching and development of audit staff
5. Identify and raise business development opportunities with new and existing clients
6. Support complex and often fast-moving projects
7. Support group restructuring exercises, including client/ HMRC liaison, accounting entries and company secretarial work
8. Liaise with consultants and technical Partners across the firm’s specialist services
About you
9. ACA/ ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
10. Post-qualification experience in audit and a good working knowledge of compliance, regulation and bespoke audit and accounts software
11. Experience of working with charities and not-for-profit clients desirable (but not essential)
12. Corporate tax awareness
13. Previous experience of managing and developing people
