Base pay range – Salary: £25,000 per annum
Location: Larne Office – covering Larne, Carrick, Newtownabbey areas
Contract / Hours: Permanent, 37 hours per week (Mon‑Fri 9am‑5pm; some flexibility may be required)

About the Service
Choices Family Support Service (CFSS) supports young people aged 10‑17 and their families to manage low‑level mental health, family breakdown and emotional well‑being. CFSS provides one‑to‑one support, family work and parental support. The outreach service works in families' homes, schools or other community venues across the Northern Trust area.
Responsibilities
 * Support young people to overcome and better manage difficulties they are facing by assessing needs, agreeing to a service plan, conducting agreed work, and reviewing on a regular basis
 * Carry out assessments and devise action plans to achieve positive outcomes
 * Carry out individual work with young people aged 10‑17 and their parents/carers on an outreach basis
 * Update and maintain digital records
What we’re looking for
 * Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 3 or above, or equivalent/related health, counselling or social care qualification
 * Experience in a multi‑disciplinary team providing services to families and children aged 10‑17
 * Experience working with low‑level mental health issues (anxiety, self‑harm, low mood) and related concerns
 * Good working knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
 * Access to a car with Business Insurance cover (the role requires travel and reasonable adjustments as per Equality Act)
 * Registration with NISCC or willingness to register
