Overview
Join to apply for the Interim Head of HR role at Nestlé. This is a 4–6 month fixed-term contract located in Gatwick (hybrid; 2 days per week in the office). Salary between £70,000 – £100,000 dependent on experience, plus car allowance, potential bonus, generous pension, 12 flex days on top of 25 holiday entitlement, 2 paid volunteering days, and other benefits. We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements to meet individual needs.
This opportunity involves partnering strategically and operationally with two business categories, driving the people agenda and leading complex change projects. Responsibilities include overseeing people processes to ensure critical capabilities and fostering talent development for key roles.
Responsibilities
* Lead all HR practices with an employee-oriented, high-performance culture focused on quality, productivity, goal attainment, and empowerment.
* Lead and facilitate transformational change programmes.
* Act as talent expert: understand the workforce plan, drive skill development, and identify talent for roles.
* Collaborate with the wider HR teams across the Ulrich 3-box model to support and deliver for the business areas.
What will make you successful?
We are looking for a candidate with substantial HR and complex change management experience, able to navigate a complex matrix organisation. You should be able to operate as a strategic HR professional within a senior leadership team, contributing to the broader business agenda. Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills across levels, a commercial understanding of the business, and resilience in ambiguous environments are key strengths.
You will also be able to demonstrate experience in:
* Developing and coaching senior leaders to enable high-performing teams.
* Influencing, communicating, and collaborating effectively to achieve results.
* Leading and managing complex change through organisation design, development, and business transformation techniques.
* Experience in employee/labour relations.
* Experience in an FMCG environment would be desirable.
