GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND Teacher to work within supportive provision in Hull. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT with a strong interest in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people.

The Role of a SEND Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet a range of SEND needs
* Support pupils with ASC, SEMH, ADHD, MLD, and other learning difficulties
* Create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
* Track and assess progress in line with individual learning plans and EHCPs
* Work closely with support staff, parents, and external agencies
* Use effective behaviour management strategies to promote positive engagement

The Ideal SEND Teacher will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Have experience working with SEND or in alternative provision settings
* Be patient, resilient, and adaptable in approach
* Be confident managing a range of complex needs and behaviours
* Have a strong commitment to inclusive education and pupil progress

Requirements:
* QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
* Right to work in the UK
* Relevant SEND experience (preferred but not essential for strong candidates)
