We are seeking a Paralegal / Executive Assistant to support to the Deputy Director and the wider Property Law Team, supporting specialist real estate, commercial property, and cross-government infrastructure work. Based in Bristol with hybrid working, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality legal support across a diverse portfolio of projects. This role combines hands‑on paralegal duties with executive support to senior lawyers, offering an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a fast‑paced, collaborative and high‑profile legal environment.
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate strong organisational ability, clear and proactive communication and sound legal research skills.
Key Accountabilities
* Provide legal research, draft notes, and prepare initial versions of legal documents.
* Support the team’s project management, including tracking deadlines and delivering process updates.
* Maintain organised and effective filing and case‑management systems.
* Assist senior lawyers in managing client relationships and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
* Collate and disseminate legal know‑how, contributing to knowledge‑management activities.
* Deliver administrative support such as scheduling, minute‑taking, and assisting with client training materials.
Key Criteria
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise a changing workload.
* Experience creating and maintaining clear, efficient filing and information‑management systems.
* Ability to conduct thorough legal research and present findings effectively.
* Strong interpersonal skills and confidence working with colleagues, clients and external partners.
* Ability to meet deadlines and work accurately within a busy team environment.
