We're working with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Salford seeking a talented History specialist to join their Humanities department from January 2026 on a full-time basis until April 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to inspire students through engaging and thought-provoking History lessons, while contributing to a supportive and collaborative department.
The Role
Teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential).
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that promote curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of the subject.
Assess and track pupil progress to support achievement and confidence.
Create an inclusive classroom environment with high expectations for all learners.The Ideal Candidate
Holds QTS (or equivalent overseas teaching qualification).
Has experience teaching History in a UK secondary school.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for bringing the past to life.
Excellent classroom management, organisation, and communication skills.
