and main responsibilities
You will work as part of a team of staff and assist in the provision of the high quality ISO 9001 accredited radiotherapy service. To undertake external beam treatment planning and checking, and brachytherapy planning, as part of a multi-disciplinary team using various software packages. You will contribute to the training of PTP apprentices, STPs and other staff rotating through treatment planning.

Person specification
Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. Degree in Science or Therapy Radiography or equivalent qualification [e.g. BSc, DCR(T), HND/HNC plus experience]
2. Registration as a Radiographer with the Health Professions Council or a Member of the Register of Technologists
Desirable criteria
3. MSc or MSc modules relevant to treatment planning
Experience
Essential criteria
4. Experience of working in treatment planning
5. Experience of working within radiotherapy
6. Experience in advanced 3D conformal and IMRT/VMAT treatment planning
Desirable criteria
7. Experience of SABR treatment planning
8. Experience with Eclipse
Knowledge
Essential criteria
9. Broad knowledge of the field of radiotherapy planning
