Join us as a Payment Operations Analyst
Responsibilities
* Deliver successful outcomes for customers by ensuring total accuracy in reconciliation activities
* Liaise with customers, other financial institutions, and key stakeholders to resolve missing payment queries
* Showcase knowledge and enthusiasm while dealing with a variety of payment-related queries
* Complete reconciliations efficiently within our SLA's
* Oversee the end-to-end reconciliation and settlement of all scheme and internal ledgers, ensuring total accuracy while proactively resolving complex payment discrepancies
* Be responsible for daily reconciliation & settlement of payment schemes (FPS, BACS, MasterCard, Cash & International Payments)
* Resolve redirected payments, missing payments and general payment related queries
* Complete daily and monthly regulatory finance reporting
Qualifications
We're looking for someone with reconciliation experience who can provide an excellent customer service experience to our customers and colleagues. Alongside a strong background in payments, you'll need a good understanding of scheme guidelines. You'll also have the ability to take ownership of investigations and work as part of a team.
* Experience in a reconciliation or payment operations role
* Excellent communication skills, and a good standard of written English
* Attention to detail
* The ability to work on your own initiative and on multiple items simultaneously
