As a Biomedical Scientist at our Wessex Hospital you’ll bring the relevant qualifications and laboratory experience in multidisciplinary biomedical science. You have a good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of techniques. You’re also a natural communicator and team player, and you share our idea of quality. As a Biomedical Scientist, you will: Deliver high-quality pathology services. Perform biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation, reporting and quality control. Keep records of specimens, results, reagents and consumables. Support the validation and assessment of new equipment and new diagnostic procedures. Help ensure we deliver the very best experience for patients. As a Biomedical Scientist, you will have: A HCPC registration (required). A BSc in Biomedical Science (or equivalent qualification/experience). Blood sciences laboratory experience. Good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of multi-disciplinary techniques. Great communication and team player skills. The ability to understand how vital it is to maintain good customer relationships and provide high levels of service in a modern pathology laboratory. The ability to multi-task and meet required service turnaround times. Relevant laboratory experience in Haematology, Chemistry and Blood Transfusion biomedical science Helping you feel good.
