We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Peterborough, starting as soon as possible. The Role
As a Year 3 Teacher, you will plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons across all subjects. You will track pupil progress, identify gaps in learning, and implement targeted strategies to help pupils achieve their potential. Promoting positive learning behaviours, independence, and resilience will be central to your practice.
You will collaborate closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and senior leaders. Strong communication with parents and carers is also a key aspect of the role to ensure pupils are fully supported both in school and at home.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons across the Year 3 curriculum
* Monitor pupil progress and use assessment to inform planning
* Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEND and EAL learners
* Maintain a structured, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
* Promote independence, resilience, and positive behaviour
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and KS2 colleagues
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers
* Participate in staff meetings, CPD, and school improvement initiatives

Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have experience teaching Lower Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3
* Be confident delivering the national curriculum and assessment
* Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
* Be reflective, adaptable, and proactive
* Show a commitment to inclusion and safeguarding
* Work positively as part of a collaborative team
