We’re offering a unique opportunity to join a collaborative and forward-thinking manufacturing team where your technical expertise will directly contribute to critical product development and delivery. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and wants to make a real difference across the full product lifecycle – from concept and design through to production. What You’ll Be Doing: Playing a key role in testing and diagnosing advanced electrical and electronic sub-systems and circuit cards throughout the development process. Providing Test Engineering support from early-stage design through to Production Readiness and final release to operations. Supporting the introduction of new test facilities, ensuring configuration control, and producing test specifications and operator instructions. Diagnosing and resolving test failures at component level during production, applying expert-level fault-finding techniques. Collaborating closely with Operations, Design, and Engineering teams to overcome technical challenges and ensure project milestones are met. Maintaining high-quality standards and continuous improvement within the test engineering function. You’ll be part of a close-knit, multi-skilled team working in a modern, inclusive environment. The team includes everyone from apprentices and graduates to seasoned professionals – all contributing to the success of innovative systems in development and production. What We’re Looking For: A minimum of an HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline – HND or Degree qualifications are preferred. Solid experience with digital and analogue electronics manufacturing and test. Strong working knowledge of test and measurement principles, manual and automated test equipment, and fault diagnosis techniques. Prior experience within a defence, aerospace, or high-tech manufacturing environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with ERP and MES systems (e.g. SAP, MES) for managing test activities and reporting. Excellent planning and organisational skills – able to manage multiple priorities to meet project deadlines. Strong communication skills – confident generating test specifications, instructions, and technical reports. A problem-solving mindset with excellent attention to detail. Why Join Us?
