Aureos (previously known as Keltbray) have a fantastic opportunity within the finance team, ideal for someone looking to make the move from audit into a commercial role and offering hands-on exposure to group reporting, consolidation and financial analysis. Key Responsibilities • Responsible for the preparation of monthly consolidated financial results for the group. • Review inter-company transactions across the group, ensuring these appropriately eliminate. • Support in the delivery of monthly financial reporting (both internal and external stakeholders) and board pack preparation including preparation of financial analysis to aid understanding and decision making. • Analysing working capital. • Support in the delivery of the annual statutory audit, financial statements and tax compliance process including co-ordination with the wider finance team and external auditors/tax advisors. • Partner with internal teams on restructuring and corporate activity. • Resolve technical accounting issues and produce supporting papers. • Maintain integrity of general ledger financial systems & COINS mappings. • Work with Business Unit Finance, FP&A & Treasury in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures, controls and systems ensuring consistency of application across the Aureos Group. • Perform data quality checks and key reconciliations to underlying system. • Contribute to ad-hoc analysis and strategic projects. Skills and experience required · Recently qualified ACA or ACCA (from practice preferred) · Experience in Financial Reporting & Compliance · Sound understanding of UK GAAP, FRS102 and IFRS with experience of Going Concern papers · Experience in group consolidations and financial analysis. · Strong analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and detail. · Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · Proficient in the use of financial software and applications. · Ability to work to tight deadlines. · Proactive approach to work In return you will can expect to receive a competitive salary and benefits whilst working for a company who truly care and value their employees.
