Training Officer – Uno Hotels
Location: Multi-site (Based at one property with travel to others as required)

As we expand and evolve, we are looking for a dynamic Training Officer who understands the hospitality environment and can implement structured training and development initiatives across our properties.
We are seeking a Training Officer with a strong understanding of hotel operations and employee development. This role is key to driving service consistency, employee standards, and operational excellence across all departments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and manage monthly training calendars tailored to operational needs
* Establish and uphold grooming standards and service presentation across the group
* Develop and implement structured induction plans for new joiners
* Plan monthly training agendas aligned with departmental goals and company priorities
* Identify training gaps and assess company training needs in collaboration with department heads
* Create, maintain, and train staff on SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and service checklists
* Deliver or coordinate Food Hygiene & Health & Safety training and ensure legal compliance
* Work closely with the Director and senior leadership to report progress, suggest improvements, and align initiatives with company strategy
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in a training or L&D role within the hospitality industry is essential
* Strong knowledge of hotel operations including F&B, Front Office, and Housekeeping
* Solid understanding of UK food hygiene standards and health & safety protocols
* Excellent communication, presentation, and planning skills
* Ability to work independently and across multiple hotel locations
