Just turn around and talk to the director; he's sitting behind you, coding just like you, not in a boardroom.This is an ambitious scale-up in the heart of Cambridge, leading global edge innovation with IP that has set the industry standard and forced major players in the networking space to innovate to keep up.Responsibilities:Porting the OS, integrating with ODM softwareFixing build issues when moving to new platforms and applying patches to debug open-source softwareResearching technical growthRequirements:Highly experienced with embedded build systems, preferably buildroot, OpenWRT, or other WRT-VariantsExperienced with C and very confident working with patches on open source softwareStrong understanding of network protocolsDesirable skills:Experience developing Linux kernel modules and using the kernel build systemKnowledge of the Wireless and Linux network stackExperience managing the process from a reference board to productionBenefitsWork in a completely independent company where your ideas can be directly implimented£50-70k dependant on experienceOpportunity to work on tech that only exists within this companyPlease note, this job is on-site in Cambridge.
