With a new CMO onboard we are expanding the team and looking for a Marketing Content Lead to join the growing team. Currently at Series C and has expanded across 3 continents there is no better time to join.
We are looking for someone who still loves to write and lead a team of 2, the ideal person is someone who has a direct writing style, can translate technical solutions, from a B2B SaaS background and Native English or American English.
This person will have a clear path to Head of Content, we are also open to speaking to people already in a Head of Content role.
This role will involve:
• A Player-Coach approach to content creation: combining hands-on content creation with coordinating content creation across a pool of in-house writers, domain experts and freelance contributors and influencers.
• Developing and effectively executing a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company's goals, including land & expand initiatives.
• Establishing and maintaining the content editorial calendar, ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality, valuable content.
• Developing a wide variety of content types, including long-form thought leadership content & whitepapers, blog posts, emails, video scripts, and social media content, among many others.
• A versatile writing style that can adapt to support both data-driven long form content (such as studies, reports and whitepapers), as well as social-first content and micro copy.
• Geeking out on number crunching for data driven content.
• Owning & optimising organic content across organic social as well as SEO.
• Collaborating with the product, marketing, and sales teams to produce relevant content that meets the needs of our audience and supports product launches and promotional campaigns.
• Analysing content performance metrics and user insights to optimize strategies for increased engagement and conversion rates.
• Staying up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and content marketing best practices to continuously improve content effectiveness.
• Ensuring all content reflects the company's brand voice, style, and messaging consistently.
Qualifications:
• preferably in the SaaS or technology sector.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies that have led to measurable business results.
• Strong leadership skills, with experience managing a team of content creators.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling stories that engage and convert.
• Deep understanding of SEO, content marketing, and digital marketing strategies.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with teams across the organization.
• Creative thinker with strong analytical abilities to measure performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
