Role Overview
The Director of Marketing is a senior strategic leader who will shape and deliver the company’s global marketing vision. This is not a traditional marketing role — it’s about inspiring a movement, influencing internal and external audiences, and positioning the business as the most trusted and innovative force in sustainable materials processing.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development and execution of a bold, insight-led global marketing strategy that supports commercial growth across all regions and sectors
* Own the brand’s evolution, ensuring it remains consistent, compelling and impactful across every customer touchpoint
* Drive demand generation by collaborating with business development teams to deliver quality leads and accelerate the sales pipeline
* Embed marketing deeply within the organisation, making it a true strategic partner across teams such as Engineering, Delivery, Talent and CustomCare
* Spearhead flagship campaigns and thought leadership initiatives that enhance the company’s global reputation
* Build and guide a high-performing international marketing team, encouraging creativity, ownership and continuous improvement
* Set clear performance goals and use data to inform decisions, optimise budgets and demonstrate marketing’s contribution to growth
* Oversee content and communication strategies that elevate the company’s voice across digital, social, events and media
* Manage the company’s digital ecosystem, ensuring tools and platforms support a smooth, data-rich customer journey
* Develop strong partnerships with media, influencers and industry groups to amplify the company’s message
* Represent the marketing function at senior leadership level, playing an active role in shaping company-wide strategy
* Uphold and champion the ‘Customer for Life’ approach by ensuring marketing contributes meaningfully to long-term customer relationships
About You
* You’re passionate about sustainability, circularity and making a long-term impact through resource recovery
* You hold a relevant degree and bring over 10 years of experience in marketing leadership, including at least 5 years at a senior level within a global B2B environment
* You have a strong track record in running successful campaigns and events, with clear results in brand growth and lead generation
* You’re confident operating at the senior leadership level, influencing strategic decisions and cross-functional planning
* You’ve successfully managed significant budgets and can clearly show the return on investment in your marketing efforts
* You’ve led multi-disciplinary teams across brand, digital, content and demand generation, delivering measurable results in international markets
* You’re commercially minded and have a proven ability to align marketing strategy with business development objectives to drive revenue
