Our clientis a market leading multidisciplinary consultancy who specialise inPlanning Architecture Urban Design Heritage Archaeology LandscapeArboriculture & Ecology.
They work onprojects at all scales within town semirural and rural contextsacross a variety of sectors that includes residential historicsites and estates renewable energy and mixeduse commercialdevelopments. As part of their ongoing growth and constantlyevolving portfolio they are looking for a Landscape Planner atAssociate Director level to join their highly efficient Landscapeteam.
Projects worked will be throughout the UKbut with the core workload currently coming in from Cambridge andthe Eastern region it would be ideal if you were suitably locatedin theseregions.
RoleandResponsibilities:
* Undertakesite survey work.
* Produce and/or oversee theproduction of reports drawings and other technical documentationusing appropriate software with the necessary level of detail asrequired at various stages of development from assessments andstrategies to mitigation design.
* Be clientfacing and respond to client requirements with the support ofsenior staff.
* Clear communication including theability to contribute to conference calls meetings andworkshops.
* Have the technical ability knowledgeand competence to provide guidance to teach and develop juniorstaff.
* Ability to work collaboratively anditeratively within a multidisciplinary designteam.
QualificationsandExperience
* CharteredMember of the Landscape Institute (CMLI) with minimum two yearspost Chartership experience.
* Candidates withinthe last quarter of Pathways to Chartership (P2C) will also beconsidered.
* Fluency in English and ability tocommunicate effectively.
* Thorough knowledge andunderstanding of the UK legal and planning system with respect tolandscape architecture.
* Technically competentin preparing LVIA/TVIA and appraisals and evidencebase documents tosupport development plans and policies in accordance with bestpractice.
* An understanding of projectmanagement including financial control and reporting and programmemanagement and ability to manage ownbudgets.
