Purpose of the role
We're looking for a driven and commercially minded Senior Intervention Specialist to join our In-House Intervention Team. In this role, you'll combine deep technical expertise with strong leadership skills to deliver the best outcomes for customers and the business. You'll take ownership of complex intervention cases, guide and coach colleagues, and play a key role in shaping how we manage intervention at scale. With a balance of analytical insight, commercial awareness, and people leadership, you'll set the standard for excellence across the team while driving efficiency, recovery opportunities, and customer satisfaction.
What you'll be working on
* You'll drive opportunities for Zego by building relationships with customers, explaining how our services work and their benefits.
* You'll work with third party partners over the phone and email, driving business growth
* Take ownership of intervention cases, using your expertise to achieve the best possible outcomes
* Spot opportunities to improve how we manage intervention, working with stakeholders across Claims, Fraud, and Customer Operations
* Handle objections professionally and confidently to convert opportunities into successful outcomes
* Drive performance through data-led decisions, always keeping sight of spend management, recovery opportunities, and customer experience
* Play a key role in shaping processes and setting the standard for excellence across the wider team
What you will need to be successful
* Strong knowledge of Zego's processes, especially in intervention, credit hire or claims handling
* You'll come from a Sales, Customer Service or Claims role, with a proven record of achieving commercial and customer-focused results
* A natural leader, you're comfortable guiding others, sharing feedback, and supporting people's growth
* Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset - you're not just focused on "what" we do, but "how" we can do it better
* You thrive in a KPI's driven environment and always seek to do better.

We believe that teams work better when they have time to collaborate and space to get things done. We call it Zego Hybrid
Our hybrid way of working is unique. We foster a flexible approach that empowers every Zegon to perform at their best. We ask you to spend at least one day a week in our central London or Halifax office. Every team has the flexibility to choose the day that works best for them. We cover the costs for all company-wide events (3 per year), and also provide a separate hybrid contribution to help pay towards other travel costs. We think it's a good mix of collaborative face time and flexible home-working, setting us up to achieve the right balance between work and life.
