We're looking for an experienced Family Services Contracts Manager (internally a Programme Manager) to lead the delivery of family and significant others services at HMP Send and oversee service delivery and line manage staff across HMPs Downview, Highdown and Coldingley.
What you’ll be doing
You will manage day‑to‑day operations across your allocated sites, contribute to operating plans and performance monitoring, and provide regular reports to your line manager. You will secure contractual targets, ensure prisoners, family members and carers remain central to the service, lead recruitment, selection and induction, support training and development, build strong relationships with HMPPS, prime contractors, healthcare providers and voluntary partners, and embed learning into programme delivery.
What we’re looking for
* Experience of managing services and staff across multiple sites, preferably in criminal justice, social care or voluntary sector.
* Strong understanding of the challenges facing prisoners and their families.
* Ability to build productive relationships with statutory and voluntary sector partners.
* Experience of performance monitoring, reporting and data‑driven service improvement.
* Competence in recruiting, inducting and developing staff, volunteers and peer supporters.
* A collaborative approach that works across organisational boundaries, sharing learning and best practice.
* A commitment to involving the voices of people with lived experience in service design and delivery.

37.5 hours per week, with occasional weekend and evening work.
Salary
£38,343 per annum (including market supplement).
