We are recruiting a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our team to help meet the demand for places due to the childcare expansion.
We are full in the nursery until September 2026 and have a waiting list, we are looking for an experienced practitioner to work on a full-time basis you will be joining either our pre-school or Toddlers room team but maybe required to work with other age groups. Baby room is full until August 2026.
You will be an excellent communicator and team player.
You must hold a Level 3 childcare qualification and have at least 1 years' experience of working within a day nursery.
You must be a supportive colleague, work well within a team and be able to form strong relationships with parent's/carers.
Candidate's must be proactive, use their own initiative and bring ideas to the team. If you have a flexible approach to childcare and can adapt to the fast pace of nursery daily routine this post may be for you.
We need confident staff who will be able to lead small group activities and help promote a stimulating nursery environment based around the children's interests.
As a key worker you will ensure every individual child's needs are met, plan activities and plan next steps to support the children in your care.
We ideally would like someone with a range of experiences working with ages 0-11 years so you can work in all aspects of the nursery and help support in our wrap around care service on occasion. We offer heavily discounted childcare places for staff children who attend our setting.
It would be desirable if you have relevant first aid and Safeguard training. These can also be completed during your induction period. An enhances DBS check will be required for the role and 2 satisfactory references to form part of our safer recruitment policy. Probationary period of 6 months.
