Role Details
* Role: Secondary SEN Teacher
* Location: Norwich
* Contract: Temp to Perm / Long-term
* Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
* Setting: On-site, SEN & Alternative Provision
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
* Support students with SEN, SEMH, and additional behavioural needs
* Foster a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
* Promote communication, independence, and emotional development
* Work closely with support staff, SENCO, and wider school teams
* Encourage student engagement, progress, and wellbeing
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience or strong interest in SEN, SEMH, or Alternative Provision
* Understanding of KS1 and KS2 learning approaches within secondary settings
* Creative, patient, and compassionate teaching style
* Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
* A valid driver's license and own motor vehicle are required to drive through school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
