Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Petrol Station Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers while managing various tasks at the petrol station. Your ability to communicate effectively, manage time efficiently, and maintain a clean and organised environment will be essential to your success in this position.
Duties
* Greet customers warmly and assist them with their fuel and convenience store purchases.
* Operate fuel pumps and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the petrol station, including the forecourt and convenience store area.
* Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper change is given.
* Assist with merchandising efforts by restocking shelves and ensuring products are displayed attractively.
* Respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating strong communication skills.
* Manage phone calls effectively, providing information or directing inquiries as necessary.
Qualifications
* Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with customers from diverse backgrounds.
* Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
* Excellent time management abilities to ensure efficient operation during busy periods.
* Organisational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and manage stock levels effectively.
