We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in North Cambridge, who is looking for a temporary Finance Assistant on a full-time basis. This role is expected to be required for an initial 6 weeks, so you will need to be available to start immediately. This role is office based and our client is seeking someone with experience in a similar role, and a strong AP background. Typical duties include: * Reconciling supplier statements, resolving discrepancies where required * Reviewing and processing employee expenses * Reconciling credit card statements against submitted employee expenses * Completing monthly reconciliations for AP, expenses and card balances and supporting month-end with accruals and prepayments * Preparing reports on supplier payments and expenses * Updating the purchase ledger and maintaining accurate financial records * Performing any other ad-hoc duties required to support the wider finance team You will have: * Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills * Strong IT skills, including experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel * The ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal * Previous experience in a similar Accounts Payable, and or similar finance role If this role looks like the new challenge you are seeking, please apply via the advert or contact John at Eclectic Recruitment.
