The setting
Nestled in a tranquil cul-de-sac, our spacious Grade II listed Georgian building is in a prime location that offers both peace and convenience. Equipped with a sprawling outdoor area, the nursery ensures that each child can play freely within a safe and secure environment. With a remarkable capacity to accommodate 116 children, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional care and individual attention to each and every child. What will you be doing?
The Enrolment & Family Experience Manager plays a key role in the nursery team with a prioritisation of driving occupancy and ensuring every family receives an exceptional experience from first enquiry through to enrolment and beyond. This role combines sales, marketing, and customer service responsibilities with operational support, ensuring nurseries achieve occupancy targets while maintaining kinderzimmer's values of excellence, kindness, joy & wonder, and collaboration.
The role is performance-targeted, with clear objectives across sales pipeline management, occupancy efficiency, customer satisfaction, and community engagement.
Sales & Occupancy Management
* Proactively manage the full sales pipeline: enquiries, tours, registrations, and enrolments, with a focus on conversion and learning through feedback loops
* Achieve agreed occupancy targets and maintain occupancy utilisation
* Manage and maintain the waiting list to maximise efficiency and conversion
* Accurately apply and promote childcare funding on invoicing and through funding portals
Customer Experience & Communication
* Provide a warm, professional front-of-house welcome for families and visitors
* Respond promptly to emails, phone calls, and enquiries with excellent customer service
* Manage family onboarding and leavers processes via the kinderzimmer app
* Produce monthly newsletters showcasing achievements, family stories, and community updates
* Generate positive feedback from families, such as through
Marketing & Community Engagement
* Deliver local marketing initiatives, social media content, and nursery promotions in line with brand standards and your nursery's targets
* Plan and deliver local promotional events (e.g. enrolment events, open days, community partnerships)
* Build and maintain community partnerships set locally around your nursery
Supporting Responsibilities
* Coordinate efficient settling-in plans for new children and families
* Support invoicing and debt collection processes, including promotion and booking of ad-hoc sessions
* Ensure children's funding is processed and claimed correctly according to your Local Authority's requirements; working with your line manager to ensure funding is claimed accurately and on-time
* Support procurement of consumables and catering, ensuring cost efficiency
* Work collaboratively with the Head of Nursery and wider team to deliver seamless family experiences

Who we are looking for
For our bespoke nursery, we are looking for an enthusiastic and driven professional to join us as an Enrolment & Family Experience Manager.
* Experienced in customer-facing roles such as sales, marketing, hospitality, or administration.
* A confident communicator with excellent organisational skills and high IT literacy.
* Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service, ideally in a childcare, hospitality, or educational setting.
* Someone with strong attention to detail who can manage occupancy pipelines and maintain accurate records.
* A creative, proactive individual who enjoys building community partnerships and engaging families through events, newsletters, and social media.
