Job Description
We’re looking for a Planning Director with deep CRM expertise to support on a global pitch for a well known homeware brand.
This role sits at the intersection of data, customer insight, and creative thinking - shaping how CRM can drive meaningful customer engagement at scale.
You’ll be a hands-on strategic lead, responsible for developing CRM-first thinking, building compelling narratives, and guiding creative and channel strategy across the customer journey.
You’ll be in the detail, working closely with cross-functional teams to shape the direction of the pitch and bring CRM strategy to life.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who blends strong CRM fundamentals with creative flair -someone who can turn data and insight into powerful, customer-centric ideas.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the CRM strategy for a global pitch, shaping end-to-end customer journeys
* Develop segmentation, targeting, and messaging frameworks grounded in insight
* Build compelling strategic narratives and pitch materials for senior stakeholders
* Collaborate closely with creative, data, and channel teams to bring ideas to life
* Challenge and elevate thinking to ensure high-quality, innovative CRM solutions
* Translate customer insight and behavioural data into actionable CRM strategies
Skills & Experience
* Strong experience as a Planning Director / Senior Strategist within CRM
* Deep understanding of CRM strategy, lifecycle planning, and personalisation
* Experience building segmentation and targeting frameworks
* Proven ability to turn data and insight into compelling strategic stories
* Strong creative judgement - able to shape and improve ideas, not just define them
* Comfortable working in fast-paced, pitch-led environments
* Experience working across integrated teams and multiple stakeholders

Approx. 1-month contract supporting a global CRM pitch
Day Rate
£600 - £750 per day
