We are seeking a Clinical Lead to provide expert leadership and clinical oversight within our Drug and Alcohol Services across Staffordshire. This pivotal role ensures safe, effective, and evidence-based care for clients with complex needs, including those prescribed opioid substitution therapy (OST). Main duties of the job
What You’ll Do
* Provide clinical leadership and oversight across the service.
* Ensure compliance with NICE guidance, national standards, and local protocols.
* Support prescribers and multidisciplinary teams in managing complex cases.
* Lead on safeguarding, risk management, and clinical audits.
* Drive service improvement initiatives and contribute to strategic planning.
* Working closely with the senior leadership team and multi-agency partners to achieve outstanding outcomes.
* Offer supervision and mentorship to clinical and non-clinical staff.
What We’re Looking For
* Registered professional (NMC, HCPC, or equivalent) with relevant clinical experience.
* Strong understanding of substance misuse treatment, harm reduction, and recovery models.
* Proven leadership skills and experience in clinical governance.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
* Ability to manage risk and lead service development initiatives.
