You’ll play a key part in delivering first-class repairs, maintenance, and installation work across our homes and buildings — ensuring every job meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Working as part of a supportive, collaborative team, you’ll handle a full range of electrical duties — from compliance testing and fault finding to improvement and repair works. What You’ll Do
Carry out a wide range of electrical repairs, installations, and compliance testing across our housing stock and properties.
Deliver first-time-fix solutions wherever possible, ensuring a professional and high-quality finish on every job.
Work independently or as part of a team, supporting colleagues, subcontractors, and other departments to deliver efficient repairs and maintenance.
Carry out surveys and inspections of electrical installations in preparation for works.
Use mobile technology to manage schedules, complete certifications, and update work orders in real time.
Take responsibility for your van stock, equipment, and tools, ensuring they are maintained and used safely.
Provide clear and friendly communication with customers and colleagues, upholding our values in every interaction.
Promote safe working practices and contribute to a positive health and safety culture.
Support continuous improvement by sharing ideas, mentoring trainees, and helping to embed new processes and technologies.What We’re Looking For
Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
Inspection & Testing (2391 / 2394 / 2395) certification.
City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Engineering (including AM2).
18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (2382).
Experience in social housing maintenance, responsive repairs, or similar environments.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
Full UK driving licence.Key Attributes
